The eton ski rack is perfect for my o1 pt cruiser. I have used it about 10 times so far and it works great, is easy to put on, to date has not done any damage to my roof, and when I get home I take it off and put it in the storage box. The cable is kind of a after thought, when I stay at he resorts, I just pull the rack and the skis off and put them in my room. I have a pair of Solomon BBR skis that are about 4" wide right in front of the bindings and the eton rack clamps ok. I don"t think that a ski that was wider then 4" would fit, overall I am very happy with the magnetic-suction ski rack.
